On State St, close to food and stores. Clean and surprisingly quiet. Had all the usual in-room extras (microwave, fridge, coffee, hair dryer, iron w/board. No cigarette odor. Comparatively reasonably priced for what it is.

VERY, VERY CLEAN BATHROOM AND BED. Those are the things that matter most to me. I also really liked the wood floor as opposed to carpeting; much cleaner. The TV was enormous; so kinda fun to have such a large TV! Windows on 2nd floor let in fresh air.

The location and one of the lower hotel prices in Santa Barbara. Desk in room for working space. Good restaurants nearby to get meals. Post Office across the street for business mailings. Fed Ex not far for copying, etc.

Nothing. The place is a hellhole! My recent stay at Sunset Motel was an absolute nightmare. I went in expecting a clean and comfortable place to stay, but what I got was a disaster from start to finish. It was painfully obvious that the people running this motel couldn't care less about basic standards. Anyone even considering a stay at this establishment should run and seek accommodations elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay. Trust me, even camping in a tent would be a step up from this nightmare.

The room was recently renewed and the bed was very comfy. Nice plants in front of the building and colourful paintings on the walls of the building. Good place to stay for one night for this price.
